About Lex...

Alexis Bazydola (also known as Lex) was born in Nashville, TN. She grew up loving hockey and was a Nashville Predators fan her whole life. She attended the University of Connecticut where she studied Sport Management. During her time in college, she worked for the UConn Men's Ice Hockey team and the Nashville Predators with their hockey operations departments.

Sports are her passion and she hopes to one day be the first female General Manager in the NHL. She has been influenced by many incredible women before her including Rebecca Lobo, Venus Williams, Hayley Wickenheiser, Diana Taurasi, Megan Rapinoe, Cammi Granato, and so many others. She hopes to inspire young women with her words and show that women belong at the table and in the locker room just as much as anyone else.

With this blog, she will show her passions in sport by writing about her own background and digging deeper in to the world of analytics, leadership, stigmas, and so much more.
